I am Ed Calvin, and I am focused on the quality of the edges I produce, rather than the volume of implements that pass through my shop.

Your blades will receive my full, dedicated attention every time they are in my hands. I actively listen to you regarding your specific needs, whether you’re a professional chef, a master woodworker, a hunting guide or anyone who appreciates the precision of a fine edge.

My workshop is in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, and I currently only accept local orders.

I have been lucky enough to spend a great deal of time outside, pursuing passions that include hunting, fishing, mountaineering, and backpacking across five continents. As a life-long outdoors person, I know from personal experience that your life can depend on having the right gear and knowing how to use it. At the top of my 'absolutely must have’ list, no matter when, where or what, is a sharp knife.

From the Amazon Basin to the Himalayas, I have always carried a sharp knife, and now offer you the same reassurance.
